Barry Beck

Barry Beck (born June 3, 1957) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenseman. After one game with the Kamloops Chiefs, he moved to the New Westminster Bruins of the Western Hockey League, where he recorded 99 points in 1975–76 and helped the Bruins win the 1977 Memorial Cup, earning the Stafford Smythe Memorial Trophy as tournament MVP. Selected second overall in both the 1977 NHL and WHA amateur drafts, Beck chose the NHL and began his career with the Colorado Rockies. He also played for the New York Rangers and Los Angeles Kings before retiring in 1990.
