Bill Krisher

William Irwin Krisher (September 18, 1935 – July 29, 2025) played guard in the NFL and AFL after a standout college career with the Oklahoma Sooners, where he earned All-American honors in 1956 and 1957. He spent two seasons in the AFL with the Dallas Texans (1960–1961), earning All-AFL recognition in 1960 and an AFL Western Division All-Star selection in 1961. Away from football, Krisher was a longtime member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and served as director of the organization's south-western region by 1975. He died in Dallas, Texas at the age of 89.
