Bill Stoneman

William Hambly Stoneman III (born April 7, 1944, in Oak Park, Illinois) was a right-handed pitcher who spent eight seasons in Major League Baseball from 1967 to 1974. He attended Mt. San Antonio College before transferring to the University of Idaho, where he helped the Vandals win the inaugural Big Sky Conference title in 1964. During his playing career he threw two no-hitters. After retiring as a player, Stoneman moved into team management, serving as general manager of the Anaheim Angels from 1999 to 2007, a tenure that included the franchise's first World Series championship in 2002.
