Blaine Stoughton

Blaine Stoughton (born March 13, 1953) is a Canadian professional ice hockey forward who played twelve professional seasons across the NHL and WHA. Drafted seventh overall by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 1973 NHL Amateur Draft, he went on to play for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Hartford Whalers, and New York Rangers in the NHL, with three WHA seasons split among the Cincinnati Stingers, Indianapolis Racers, and New England Whalers. Stoughton scored 52 goals for the Stingers in 1976–77 and tied for the NHL lead with 56 goals in 1979–80, a Hartford Whalers franchise record.
