Blair Chapman

Blair Douglas Chapman (born June 13, 1956) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. A highly touted prospect out of the Saskatoon Blades of the Western Hockey League, Chapman recorded 157 points in 69 games in his draft year, earning WHL Second All-Star Team honors in 1976. He was selected first overall in the 1976 WHA Amateur Draft by the Edmonton Oilers and second overall in the 1976 NHL Amateur Draft by the Pittsburgh Penguins. He went on to play 402 NHL games with the Penguins and the St. Louis Blues, recording 231 career points before retiring in 1983.
