Bob Anderson

Dossier
Robert Paul Anderson (born March 31, 1938) played halfback for the New York Giants in the NFL after a standout career at the United States Military Academy, where he earned two-time first-team All-America honors and rushed for 1,887 yards and 21 touchdowns. Selected in the ninth round of the 1960 NFL draft, Anderson first fulfilled a three-year military commitment as a lieutenant in the 101st Airborne Division before joining New York. His professional career was cut short by a career-ending knee injury.
