Bob Chandler

Robert Donald Chandler (1949–1995) was a wide receiver who played twelve seasons in the National Football League. Raised in Whittier, California, Chandler attended the University of Southern California, where he served as team captain and leading receiver as a senior in 1970. He appeared in two Rose Bowl games and was named Most Valuable Player of the 1970 Rose Bowl, catching a 33-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Jimmy Jones in the third quarter to provide USC's margin of victory over Michigan, 10–3. Chandler was selected by an NFL team in the seventh round of the 1971 draft.
