Bob Hess

Robert George Hess (born May 19, 1955) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman who played 329 NHL games across parts of his career with the St. Louis Blues, Buffalo Sabres, and Hartford Whalers, recording 27 goals and 95 assists for 122 points. He was selected by St. Louis in the second round, 26th overall, in the 1974 NHL amateur draft. Hess was traded to Buffalo in October 1980 and later signed with Hartford in December 1984. Between 1982 and 1984 he played in Switzerland's Nationalliga A for HC Lugano and EHC Kloten. He is a member of the St. Louis Blues Alumni Association.
