Bob Scarpitto

Bob Scarpitto (born January 7, 1939, in Rahway, New Jersey) was a punter and flanker in the American Football League. He played college football at Notre Dame before beginning his professional career with the San Diego Chargers in 1961. He spent the bulk of his AFL career with the Denver Broncos from 1962 through 1967, then finished with the Boston Patriots in 1968. Scarpitto was named an AFL All-Star in 1966, and the Pro Football Hall of Fame selected him to the second-team All-Time AFL Team as a punter.
