Bob Talamini

Robert Guy Talamini (January 8, 1939 – May 30, 2022) was a guard in the American Football League. He played college football for the Kentucky Wildcats, earning third-team All-SEC honors, before joining the Houston Oilers at the AFL's inaugural training camp in 1960. A consistent performer at the guard position, Talamini earned first- or second-team All-AFL recognition during the majority of his professional seasons. His career concluded with the New York Jets, where he was part of the team that defeated the Baltimore Colts in Super Bowl III on January 12, 1969.
