Bobby Lalonde

Robert Patrick Lalonde (born March 27, 1951) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player who played 641 games in the National Hockey League from 1971 to 1982. Selected 17th overall in the second round of the 1971 NHL entry draft, he recorded 124 goals and 210 assists for 334 points over his career.

Lalonde played in the 1962 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with the LaSalle youth team. His junior career was spent with the Ontario Hockey Association's Montreal Junior Canadiens from 1968 to 1971, where he earned 255 combined goals and assists and won the Memorial Cup twice. He went on to play for the Vancouver Canucks, Atlanta Flames, Boston Bruins, and briefly the Calgary Flames before retiring due to a recurring knee injury.

Listed at 5'5", Lalonde was the shortest player to appear in the NHL at that time. He resides on the outskirts of Toronto, Ontario, with his wife Carolyn, and has two sons: Brent, the eldest, born while he played for the Vancouver Canucks, and Court, born during his time with the Atlanta Flames.
