Dossier

Robert Price "Stubby" Rowe (August 19, 1885 – September 21, 1948) was a Canadian professional ice hockey player born in Heathcote, Ontario. He competed across 257 games in the Pacific Coast Hockey Association, 25 in the National Hockey Association, and four in the National Hockey League — one of the few players active in all three major leagues of his era. Rowe suited up for the Renfrew Millionaires, Victoria Aristocrats, Seattle Metropolitans, and Boston Bruins, beginning as a right wing before transitioning to defence. In 1917, he was part of the Seattle Metropolitans team that defeated the Montreal Canadiens to claim the Stanley Cup.
