Robert Earl "Bobby" Walden (March 9, 1938 – August 27, 2018) was an American professional football player who served as a punter in the National Football League and the Canadian Football League. He played college football at the University of Georgia from 1958 to 1960, leading the nation in average yards per punt as a sophomore in 1958 and setting an Orange Bowl record for yards per punt in 1960. Walden began his professional career in the CFL, playing three seasons from 1961 to 1963 with the Edmonton Eskimos, where he led the league in punting, rushing, and receiving in both 1961 and 1962. He moved to the NFL in 1964, leading the league in punting that year with a 46.4-yard average. Following the 1969 season, he was selected to the Pro Bowl. Walden played 14 seasons in the NFL from 1964 to 1977, part of a 17-year professional career across both leagues. As a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers, he was part of the teams that won Super Bowl IX and Super Bowl X.
