Brad Maxwell

Bradley Robert Maxwell (July 8, 1957 – September 3, 2023) was a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman known for his playmaking ability. After winning the Memorial Cup with the New Westminster Bruins in 1977, he was selected seventh overall by the Minnesota North Stars in that year's NHL amateur draft. Maxwell spent the core of his career in Minnesota, reaching the 1981 Stanley Cup Finals with the club and recording 73 points in 78 games during the 1983–84 season, his best offensive output. He later played for the Quebec Nordiques, Toronto Maple Leafs, Vancouver Canucks, and New York Rangers before retiring in 1987.
