Bryan Lefley

Bryan Andrew Lefley (October 18, 1948 – October 28, 1997) was a Canadian professional ice hockey player and coach born in Grosse Isle, Manitoba. He appeared in 228 NHL games between 1972 and 1978 before continuing his career in Europe. Following his playing days, Lefley moved into coaching overseas, serving as head coach of the Italy men's national ice hockey team from 1993 until his death. He died in a car accident on October 28, 1997, in Bolzano, Italy, ten days after his 49th birthday. He was the brother of fellow NHL player Chuck Lefley.
