Bucky Harris

Stanley Raymond "Bucky" Harris (1896–1977) was a second baseman, manager, and executive in Major League Baseball, best known for a managerial career that earned him induction into the Baseball Hall of Fame by the Veterans Committee in 1975. He played for the Washington Senators and Detroit Tigers before taking over as Washington's player-manager at age 27, leading the Senators to the 1924 World Series title — making him the youngest manager and first rookie manager to win a championship. Harris managed 29 seasons across five teams, winning more than 2,150 games, three pennants, and two World Series titles (1924, Washington; 1947, New York Yankees).
