Bud Stallworth

Isaac "Bud" Stallworth, born January 18, 1950, is an American former basketball player who played shooting guard. Standing 6 feet 5 inches and weighing 190 pounds, he played college basketball for the Kansas Jayhawks, earning consensus second-team All-American and Big Eight Conference Player of the Year honors in 1972. That same year, while at Kansas, he scored 50 points in a win against Missouri.

Stallworth was selected seventh overall by the Seattle SuperSonics in the 1972 NBA draft and was also drafted by the Denver Rockets in the 1972 American Basketball Association draft. He played two seasons with the SuperSonics before being made available in the 1974 expansion draft, where he was selected by the New Orleans Jazz. He played three seasons for the Jazz, with his professional career spanning 1972 to 1977. His playing career was cut short by a back injury sustained in an automobile accident in 1977.

In 1978, Stallworth graduated from the University of Kansas with a bachelor of social work degree.
