Carl Voss

Carl Potter Voss (January 6, 1907 – September 13, 1993) was an American ice hockey forward who played in the National Hockey League from 1926 to 1938. Born in Chelsea, Massachusetts, Voss attended Queen's University in Canada, where in 1925–26 he helped the hockey team reach the Memorial Cup finals before falling 2–1 to the Calgary Canadians. He was signed by the Toronto Maple Leafs in 1926–27 but appeared in only 14 games, spending much of his early career in the minors with clubs including the Toronto Falcons, London Panthers, and Buffalo Bisons. He later became a referee and was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1974 as a builder.
