Chico Salmon

Ruthford Eduardo "Chico" Salmon (December 3, 1940 – September 17, 2000) was a Panamanian professional baseball player who appeared in Major League Baseball as a utility player from 1964 through 1972. Born in Colón, Panama, he attended Abel Bravo High School and College, where he competed in baseball, basketball, and track. He represented Panama at the 1959 Pan-American Games in Venezuela before signing professionally. Salmon spent most of his career with the Cleveland Indians and the Baltimore Orioles, appearing on the Orioles teams that won three consecutive American League pennants from 1969 to 1971 and the 1970 World Series.
