Chuck Gilmur

Charles Edward Gilmur Jr. (1922–2011) was a 6'4" forward/center who played professional basketball from 1946 to 1951. A product of the University of Washington, where he earned first-team All-PCC honors in 1943, Gilmur spent his NBA career with the Chicago Stags and Washington Capitols. He averaged 5.8 points per game over his career and led the league in personal fouls with 231 during the 1947–48 season. After leaving professional basketball, he returned to Washington state, where he worked as a high school teacher and basketball coach.
