Coy Bacon

Coy Bacon (August 30, 1942 – December 22, 2008) was a defensive lineman who played 14 seasons in the NFL for the Dallas Cowboys, Los Angeles Rams, San Diego Chargers, Cincinnati Bengals, and Washington Redskins. He also appeared with the Washington Federals of the USFL. A product of Jackson State University, Bacon earned three Pro Bowl selections during his career. Though sacks were not an official statistic in his era, researchers credit him with 130.5 career sacks. He was inducted into the Black College Football Hall of Fame in 2021.
