Crutchy Morrison

John William "Crutchy" Morrison (March 4, 1895 – March 14, 1956) was a Canadian professional ice hockey player born in Selkirk, Manitoba. He began his career with the Selkirk Fishermen in 1913 before enlisting with the Canadian Expeditionary Force in 1915, playing for the Winnipeg 61st Battalion and winning the Allan Cup in 1916. After the war he joined the Edmonton Eskimos of the Western Canada Hockey League, where he played four seasons and appeared in the 1923 Stanley Cup Finals, scoring the team's only goal. He played 18 NHL games with the New York Americans during the 1925–26 season.
