Curt Ridley

Charles Curtis Ridley (September 24, 1951 – December 19, 2021) was a Canadian ice hockey goaltender born in Minnedosa, Manitoba. He began his junior career with the Portage Terriers of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League before being selected by the Boston Bruins in the second round of the 1971 NHL Amateur Draft, becoming the first player ever drafted directly from Tier II Junior A hockey. Ridley's NHL career spanned 1974 to 1980, during which he appeared in 104 games with the New York Rangers, Vancouver Canucks, and Toronto Maple Leafs. He was inducted into the Manitoba Hockey Hall of Fame in 2015.
