Dainard Paulson

Dossier
Dainard Paulson (born May 15, 1937, Los Angeles) was a defensive back in the American Football League who played college football at Oregon State under Tommy Prothro before joining the New York Titans, later renamed the Jets. A two-way contributor at Oregon State as tailback, defensive back, and punter, Paulson went on to earn AFL All-Star honors in 1964 and 1965 with New York. He co-holds the AFL single-season record for most interceptions, a mark that stands among the league's defensive benchmarks from that era.
