Dossier

Dale Gordon Hoganson (born July 8, 1949) is a Canadian defenseman who played 344 NHL games and 378 WHA games between 1969 and 1982. He skated for the Los Angeles Kings, Montreal Canadiens, Quebec Nordiques, and Birmingham Bulls. Hoganson was acquired by Montreal on November 4, 1971, in the trade that sent Rogie Vachon to Los Angeles, along with Denis DeJordy, Noel Price, and Doug Robinson. He was included in the Canadiens' official 1973 Stanley Cup winning photograph and received a ring, though his name was not engraved on the Cup as he did not officially qualify under the criteria.
