Dave Costa

David Joseph Costa (1941–2013) was a professional football defensive tackle who played college football at Northeastern Junior College and the University of Utah, where he earned the inaugural Western Athletic Conference Lineman of the Year award. Selected in the AFL Draft, Costa spent his professional career in the American Football League with the Oakland Raiders (1963–1965), Buffalo Bills (1966), and Denver Broncos (1967–1969). He earned AFL All-Star honors four times, including as one of only two rookies selected in 1963, and was named second-team All-AFL three times across his seven-year AFL career.
