Dave Shean

Dave Shean, given name David William (July 9, 1883 – May 22, 1963). He was born in Arlington, Massachusetts and died in Boston, Massachusetts. He stood 5 feet 11 inches and weighed 175 pounds. He batted and threw right-handed. He debuted in the majors in 1906 and played his last big-league season in 1919, a stretch of 14 seasons, primarily with the Boston Braves of the National League. His full professional career, including the minor leagues, ran from 1905 through 1919. His card presence in this catalog is on the E90-1 American Caramel set issued between 1909 and 1911. He is interred at St. Paul Cemetery in Arlington, Massachusetts.
