David Thomas Trottier (June 25, 1906 – November 14, 1956) was a Canadian professional ice hockey player born in Pembroke, Ontario. He represented Canada at the 1928 Olympic Games, earning a gold medal, before going on to an 11-season National Hockey League career. Trottier spent much of that career with the Montreal Maroons, serving as the team's leading scorer during the 1931–32 season and winning the Stanley Cup with the club in 1935.
