Dick Cunningham (born July 11, 1946) is an American retired professional basketball player who played center in the National Basketball Association from 1968 to 1975. Standing 6'10" and born in Canton, Ohio, Cunningham played his college basketball at Murray State University, where as a junior in the 1966–67 season he led NCAA Division I in rebounding with a school-record 21.8 rebounds per game. He was named to the All-Ohio Valley Conference team in 1967 and 1968. Across three varsity seasons he scored 981 points and collected 1,292 rebounds in 71 games. His 479 rebounds in 1966–67 and his career average of 18.2 rebounds per game remain Murray State records, and he was inducted into the Murray State Athletics Hall of Fame in 1986.

Cunningham was the 21st overall pick in the 1968 NBA draft, selected by the Phoenix Suns, and was also chosen by the New York Nets in the American Basketball Association draft. Phoenix traded him to the Milwaukee Bucks before the 1968–69 season, and he spent seven NBA seasons with the Bucks and the Houston Rockets. Over his career he averaged 2.8 points and 3.7 rebounds per game. In 1971 he won an NBA championship as a member of the Milwaukee Bucks.
