Richard Frank Gamble (November 16, 1928 – March 22, 2018) was a Canadian professional ice hockey player who spent the bulk of his career in the American Hockey League. He appeared in the NHL with the Montreal Canadiens, Chicago Black Hawks, and Toronto Maple Leafs between 1950 and 1967, winning the Stanley Cup with Montreal in 1953. His most sustained success came with the Rochester Americans, where he captured the Calder Cup in 1965, 1966, and 1968, led the AHL in scoring during the 1967–68 season, and received the Les Cunningham Award. Rochester retired his number 9 jersey in his honor.
