Dick Meissner

Richard Donald Meissner (1940–2002) was a Canadian professional ice hockey forward who played 171 games in the NHL for the Boston Bruins and New York Rangers between 1959 and 1965. He came up through junior hockey with the Humboldt Indians, Estevan Bruins, and Flin Flon Bombers before turning professional with Boston in 1959. Traded to the New York Rangers in 1963, he played two seasons in New York alongside stints with farm clubs. Meissner continued in the minor leagues through 1972 and made a brief return with the Portland Buckaroos in 1974 before retiring.
