Dick Schofield

Richard Craig Schofield (born November 21, 1962) was a Major League Baseball shortstop who played 14 seasons from 1983 to 1996. Selected third overall by the California Angels in the 1981 draft, he spent the bulk of his career in Anaheim before stints with the New York Mets, Toronto Blue Jays, and Los Angeles Dodgers. On August 29, 1986, he hit a walk-off grand slam against the Detroit Tigers to cap an eight-run ninth-inning rally. He was a member of the 1993 World Series champion Blue Jays, though a broken arm kept him out of the postseason. He shares the record for most seasons (four) with 400 or more at-bats and fewer than 100 hits.
