Donald Lamar Adams (November 27, 1947 – December 25, 2013) was an American professional basketball player. He stood 6 feet 6 inches (1.98 m) and weighed 210 pounds (95 kg).

Born in Atlanta, Adams attended South Fulton High School in Fulton, Georgia, and played college basketball for the Northwestern Wildcats. The San Diego Rockets selected him in the eighth round of the 1970 NBA draft. Over his National Basketball Association career he averaged 8.7 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game.

In the American Basketball Association, Adams played with the Spirits of St. Louis, signing for the league minimum late in the 1974-75 season. During one game he came from the blind side to deck Swen Nater with a single punch in a scuffle between Nater and Marvin Barnes. In the ABA he averaged 10.1 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 3.9 assists per game before returning to the NBA with the Buffalo Braves late in the 1975-76 season.

After retiring from playing, Adams worked as a financial advisor and lived in Southfield, Michigan. He was married and had two children. Adams died at Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, on December 25, 2013.
