Don Kozak

Donald Kozak (born February 2, 1952) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey forward whose career spanned from 1972 to 1982. He played junior hockey for the Saskatoon Blades, Swift Current Broncos, and Edmonton Oil Kings, earning selection to the WCHL Second All-Star Team in 1972. That same year, the Los Angeles Kings selected him in the 1972 NHL Amateur Draft, and he made his professional debut with the club that season. Kozak remained with Los Angeles until 1978 before spending part of a season with the Vancouver Canucks. He finished his career in the minor leagues, closing with a season in Germany before retiring in 1982. Over his time in the National Hockey League, he appeared in 437 games. On April 17, 1977, Kozak scored a six-second goal against the Boston Bruins in the Stanley Cup quarterfinals, setting the record for the fastest goal in Stanley Cup playoff history.
