Don Lock

Don Lock (July 27, 1936 – October 8, 2017) was a right-handed outfielder from Wichita, Kansas, who played in the Major Leagues from 1962 to 1969. After attending Wichita State University and signing with the New York Yankees in 1958, he broke into the majors with the Washington Senators in 1962 following a stint at Triple-A Richmond. He took over as the Senators' regular center fielder in 1963, displacing Jimmy Piersall. His two most productive seasons came in 1963 and 1964, when he hit 27 and 28 home runs and drove in 82 and 80 runs respectively. He later played for the Philadelphia Phillies and Boston Red Sox.
