Don "Monk" Meineke (October 30, 1930 – September 3, 2013) was an American basketball player who played college ball at the University of Dayton, where he was a consensus second-team All-American in 1952 after averaging 21.1 points per game and leading the Flyers to back-to-back NIT runner-up finishes. Playing forward for the Fort Wayne Pistons, he won the NBA's inaugural Rookie of the Year Award in 1953. That same season he led the league in personal fouls and disqualifications, setting an NBA single-season record of 26 disqualifications that still stands.
