Don Saleski

Donald Patrick Saleski, born November 10, 1949, is a Canadian former professional ice hockey right winger who played nine seasons in the National Hockey League. Nicknamed "Big Bird," he was drafted by the Philadelphia Flyers in the sixth round, 64th overall, in the 1969 NHL amateur draft.
Saleski spent the bulk of his career with the Flyers, playing eight seasons in Philadelphia from 1969 to 1977. During that span he was a member of the Flyers' Stanley Cup winning teams of 1973–74 and 1974–75. He played the final two seasons of his career, 1978 and 1979, with the Colorado Rockies.
Over 543 career NHL games, Saleski scored 128 goals and added 125 assists for 253 points. Following his playing career, he served on the board of directors of breastcancer.org.
