Donald Edward Wilson (1945–1975) was a right-handed pitcher who spent his entire nine-season Major League career with the Houston Astros. A hard thrower in the National League, Wilson attended Compton Community College before signing with Houston in 1966. In his first full season, 1967, he went 10–9 with a 2.79 ERA and threw a no-hitter against the Atlanta Braves on June 18, striking out 15 batters including Hank Aaron for the final out. The game was the first no-hitter thrown in a domed stadium and on artificial turf.
