Dots Miller

Dots Miller (September 9, 1886 – September 5, 1923) was born John Barney and hailed from Kearny, New Jersey. Listed at 170 pounds, he batted right-handed and threw right. He played in the major leagues from 1909 through 1921, a 12-season run, spending most of his career with the Pittsburgh Pirates of the National League. His broader professional career stretched from 1908 to 1922, bracketing his major-league years on both ends.
