Doug Dieken

Doug Dieken (born February 12, 1949) played left tackle for the Cleveland Browns from 1971 to 1984, spending 14 seasons anchoring the offensive line. He played college football at Illinois, where he lined up as a tight end on a run-heavy offense. Originally a tight end, defensive end, and punter in high school, Dieken earned All-State recognition in 1966 and was selected by Cleveland in the sixth round of the 1971 NFL Draft. After his playing career ended, he transitioned to broadcasting as a radio color analyst for the Browns, a role he held across two stints totaling 34 seasons.
