Dwight Anthony Anderson (December 28, 1960 – September 5, 2020) was an American professional basketball player. Born in Dayton, Ohio, he graduated from Roth High School in Dayton before playing collegiately for the University of Kentucky from 1978 to 1980, where he averaged 13 points per game on 50 percent field-goal shooting. He transferred to the University of Southern California, playing from 1981 to 1982 and averaging 20 points per game on 40 percent shooting.
The Washington Bullets selected Anderson in the second round of the 1982 NBA draft. He played one NBA season, appearing for the Denver Nuggets during 1982–83. Anderson also spent several seasons in the Continental Basketball Association with the Ohio Mixers, Albuquerque Silvers, Cincinnati Slammers and Evansville Thunder. In 112 CBA games, he averaged 21.0 points per game.
