Earl Faison

Earl Faison (1939–2016) was a defensive end in the American Football League from 1960 to 1966, spending the bulk of his career with the San Diego Chargers. An All-American at Indiana University, Faison was drafted by both the Detroit Lions and the Los Angeles Chargers, signing with the AFL club as a first-round pick in December 1960. Standing 6-foot-5 and 260 pounds, he was a member of the Chargers' original "Fearsome Foursome" defensive line from 1961 to 1966, a unit that also featured Hall of Famer Ernie Ladd.
