Edwin Karger, known as "Loose" (May 6, 1883 - September 9, 1957). He was a native of San Angelo, Texas, listed in playing days at 5'11", 185 lbs. He batted left-handed and threw left-handed. His major-league career ran from 1906 through 1911, primarily with the Boston Red Sox of the American League. His broader professional ledger — including minor-league seasons — extends from 1905 through 1921.
