Edward Cunningham Foster (February 13, 1887 – January 15, 1937) was a professional baseball third baseman who played in Major League Baseball from 1910 to 1923. After brief stints with the New York Highlanders, he spent his longest tenure with the Washington Senators from 1912 to 1919, where he posted career highs in 1912 with 176 hits, 34 doubles, and 70 RBI. Known for his ability to place the ball to specific parts of the field and his skill fielding bunts at third base, Foster later played for the Boston Red Sox and St. Louis Browns before his career concluded.
