Fran Huck

Anthony Francis Huck (born December 4, 1945) was a Canadian ice hockey player who starred in junior hockey with the Regina Pats, winning the scoring title, earning all-star recognition, and being named league MVP. Rather than turn professional, he joined the Canadian national team under Father David Bauer from 1965 to 1969, pursuing law studies while competing internationally. He earned bronze medals at the 1966 and 1967 IIHF World Championships and at the 1968 Winter Olympics. Huck went on to play professionally in the NHL and WHA from 1970 to 1978 and was inducted into the IIHF Hall of Fame in 1999.
