Frank Brian

Frank Brian (May 1, 1923 – May 14, 2017) was a 6'1" guard from Louisiana State University who played professional basketball from 1947 into the early 1950s. He began his career with the Anderson Packers of the National Basketball League, scoring 2,442 points over three seasons before joining the Tri-Cities Blackhawks after the Chicago Stags traded him. Brian earned NBA All-Star honors in 1951 and was named to the All-NBA Second Team that year after averaging 16.8 points, 3.9 assists, and 3.6 rebounds. He later played for the Fort Wayne Pistons, having been traded from Tri-Cities in May 1951.
