Frank Linzy

Frank Alfred Linzy (born September 15, 1940) was an American professional baseball player who spent eleven seasons in Major League Baseball as a relief pitcher. A right-handed batter and thrower, Linzy pitched for the San Francisco Giants (1963, 1965–1970), St. Louis Cardinals (1970–1971), Milwaukee Brewers (1972–1973), and Philadelphia Phillies (1974). In his first full season in 1965, he posted a 9–3 record with a 1.43 ERA and 21 saves across 57 appearances, finishing 13th in NL MVP voting and third in Rookie of the Year balloting that year.
