Francis William Martin (May 1, 1933 – February 18, 2007) was a Canadian ice hockey player who spent parts of 1953 to 1957 in the National Hockey League with the Boston Bruins and Chicago Black Hawks, appearing in 282 games. He played as both a forward and defenceman, captaining the St. Catharines Teepees in 1951–52 before turning professional with the AHL's Hershey Bears. Martin was the first player from the St. Catharines minor hockey system to reach the NHL. The bulk of his professional career, which ran through 1965, was spent in the AHL. He had previously declined a pitching contract from the Brooklyn Dodgers.
