Frank Andrew McCormick (June 9, 1911 – November 21, 1982) was a right-handed first baseman who played fifteen seasons in Major League Baseball. Known as "Buck," he spent the bulk of his career with the Cincinnati Reds (1934–1945) before stints with the Philadelphia Phillies and Boston Braves. Standing 6-foot-4 and 205 pounds, McCormick won the National League Most Valuable Player Award in 1940, making him the second of three consecutive Reds players to claim the honor. He made his final major league appearance in the 1948 World Series with the Boston Braves.
