Frank Nighbor

Frank Nighbor (1893–1966) was a Canadian professional ice hockey forward who built his career primarily with the Ottawa Senators of the NHA and NHL, also suiting up for the Toronto Blueshirts, Vancouver Millionaires, and Toronto Maple Leafs. A defensive forward known for his poke checking, back checking, and physical play, he won the Stanley Cup once with Vancouver and four times with Ottawa. Known variously as the "Pembroke Peach," "The Flying Dutchman," and "Peerless Frank," Nighbor became the first player ever awarded both the Hart Trophy and the Lady Byng Trophy.
